Terms of Service & Practice Policies
These Terms of Service govern all mobile home consultations provided by Health and Hearing Clinic Ltd across London. By booking an appointment, you agree to comply with the medical and behavioral terms outlined below.
1. Clinical Scope of Practice
Our visiting practitioners are registered Hearing Aid Dispensers (HCPC) and Clinical Physiologists (RCCP). Our service is designed for routine ear wax removal via dry microsuction and diagnostic hearing assessments. We do not provide acute emergency A&E trauma care, surgical interventions, or treatment for sudden sensorineural hearing loss occurring within 72 hours.
2. The £30 Clinical Triage Guarantee
We operate an honest, transparent fee structure. If our audiologist arrives at your London residence and otoscopic examination reveals that your ear canals are clear of wax, the standard £70 procedure fee is waived. You will only be billed £30 for the clinician's travel, diagnostic assessment time, and written medical report.
3. Pre-Appointment Preparation
Patients must apply medical-grade olive oil drops into the affected ear(s) 2 to 3 times daily for at least 2 to 3 days prior to their home consultation. Failure to soften hardened wax plugs may make microsuction uncomfortable or unsuccessful. In rare cases where impacted wax cannot be removed due to lack of preparation, standard triage fees apply.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change or illnesses occur. You may cancel or reschedule your London home visit without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the booked appointment window. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours or failure to be home when our clinician arrives may incur a £30 travel administration fee.
5. Safeguarding & Vulnerable Adults
When visiting elderly residents, individuals with dementia, or mobility-impaired patients in residential care homes, a family member, caregiver, or nursing staff member must be present throughout the consultation to support informed medical consent and patient comfort.
