Sudden or rapid hearing loss in one or both ears (within the last 72 hours)
Active bleeding or foul-smelling fluid discharge from the ear canal
Severe ear pain, swelling, or tenderness around the outer ear or earlobe
Acute dizziness, spinning vertigo, or loss of balance associated with ear symptoms
History of recent ear surgery or known perforated eardrum without clinical clearance
