Patient Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026. Health and Hearing Clinic Ltd is committed to safeguarding your medical records and personal data in strict compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and HCPC confidentiality standards.
1. Information We Collect
When you book a home consultation across London, we collect personal details including your name, residential address, telephone number, date of birth, and GP practice details. During your clinical examination, our visiting practitioner records clinical findings, otoscopic video imagery, and audiological diagnostic measurements.
2. How We Use Your Clinical Data
Your medical data is used exclusively to provide safe, personalized ear wax removal and audiology care. With your explicit consent, we may share formal diagnostic reports and referral letters with your NHS GP or specialist ENT consultant to ensure continuity of medical care.
3. Data Storage & Security
All patient records and digital otoscopy videos are encrypted and stored on secure UK-based medical cloud servers complying with NHS Digital standards. We never sell, trade, or share your contact details with third-party marketing agencies or commercial hearing aid manufacturers.
4. Your Patient Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the legal right to request access to your clinical records, request corrections to factual errors, or withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at care@healthandhearingclinic.co.uk.
5. HCPC & Statutory Retention
In accordance with statutory healthcare regulations and medical indemnity guidelines, adult clinical audiology records are retained securely for a period of 8 years following your last home consultation before being permanently and securely deleted.
